From First Class to 1,000: Blake’s Commitment to His Health

We want to give a shoutout to Blake for being a member of our 1,000 Class Commitment Club and share his story of how CrossFit Coordinate has changed his life!

Blake’s commitment to his health really shows. Despite a very demanding job that sometimes includes 10+ hours a day 6 to 7 days a week, Blake makes CrossFit Coordinate a part of his daily routine. With his 24/7 access, Blake is able to squeeze in his workouts despite his busy schedule. You’ll consistently find Blake at 5AM – and when he can’t make it at 5AM, he hops into an afternoon class!

His First Steps

Blake started at CrossFit Coordinate in November 2017. His initial goal was to gain strength and improve his conditioning. He knew he could be healthier and that quality coaching was important. He had tried other gyms, but they just didn’t work. Once he started coming to class he was hooked! And now you’ll often find Blake at the top of our attendance charts and our monthly Consistency Club. We asked him what keeps him coming and motivated despite all the distractions, and his answer was quite simple:

“The results keep me motivated to keep getting better, and the community and coaching make it fun. I look forward to going to the gym – I get everything I need in less than an hour!

For Blake, CrossFit Coordinate is a family affair! Both of his sons trained at CrossFit Coordinate to help supplement their sports journey – and his wife is also a member of our Committed Club!

Here’s his advice to folks who are afraid of starting a fitness routine or trying CrossFit:

“Try it! it’s hard at the beginning, but it gets easier and easier. CrossFit Coordinate has changed my life. I’m healthier and happier. Trust me, you won’t regret it!”

Even though he has achieved all the goals he initially set for himself, Blake is not slowing down – he is well on his way to 2,000 classes! He continues to get stronger and fitter every year and the numbers in the gym prove it. Blake’s commitment to his health hasn’t stopped! All of this started with him making the decision to walk into CrossFit Coordinate and try CrossFit for the first time!

Coach Ashley has several years of experience coaching CrossFit. You’ll see Ashley at our 9:30AM class lifting heavy, working hard, and encouraging everyone! We are very lucky to have her share her enthusiasm and passion for CrossFit with our athletes!

Eric Laber

COACH

Eric is a squash player turned CrossFit fanatic.  He is passionate about sports performance and a devout believer in the positive impacts of intensive training on all aspects of life.  When he is not at the gym, he can be found on the squash court, wrangling his children, or staring into space thinking about statistics.

Nicole is a long time member of our community with over 1,200 classes attended. We are very excited to have her experience on our team and helping our members. You will find Nicole working out with our 8:30 or 9:30AM classes and every weekend participating in our Conditioning program!

Brandon has over 10 years experience with CrossFit, many of those years coaching. You will typically find him lifting heavy and having lots of fun at the gym! His keen eye makes him a master at correcting movement patterns!

COACH

Alys has coached with us many years! She brings her talent as not only as a great CrossFitter, but also a great coach! Operations Manager And COACH

Coach Kristen wears many hats at CrossFit Coordinate. You’ll typically find Kristen coaching the 8:30 and 9:30am class where she brings her energy and years of fitness instruction experience to our community. In addition to crushing our workouts and cheering everyone on, you’ll find Kristen handling the day to day operations of our community and running our nutrition program!

Rick Borelli

COACH

Rick has been involved in the health and fitness industry since 2000 and in the CrossFit world since 2012 (he even owned his own CF gym for several years). He has multiple certifications under his belt including CFL1, Kids CrossFit, and CrossFit Gymnastics.

Peter Ghali

OWNER / COACH

Peter’s passion for fitness and health started much later in life. Overworked and stressed out, he turned to CrossFit to help. Ten Years later he is still working hard in the gym and helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. You’ll find Peter in the Gym quite a bit with his daughter, Hannah, and son, Luke working out and coaching classes!

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
